Yesterday, a new major group was formed to, in the name of one founder, to organize the 70% of Americans who are in the political center. This was one of the key factors that David Brooks mentioned during his visit here, when he lamented that there are multiple institutions supporting the right and left but not representing the political center. Leaders such as Mayor Bloomberg, former Senator Evan Bayh, and former Congressman Bob Inglis participated in the opening event.
